The Path4You program partners with pharmacies and prescription delivery services who bill our program for some or all of the cost! The birth control isn’t free for us, but it is free for you!

After your virtual or in-person consultation, a prescription will be sent to your local pharmacy or CarePoint Pharmacy can mail the birth control to you. If you have chosen a birth control method during a telehealth consultation that requires an insertion procedure, we will schedule an in-person appointment within 1-2 days of your initial telehealth consultation.

You can schedule the appointment on our website here, and you will receive a link via email or text to join the virtual appointment from your phone or computer.

No!  You can receive PATH4YOU services without participating in the research study.

If for any reason cost becomes an issue for you accessing your birth control, please let us know. You can contact us by email (path4you@iu.edu) or phone (317.278.7284).  Please reach out!

We can still help you! Our virtual visit clinic requires parental permission, but our partner clinic, Indiana Family Planning Clinic, does not.

Yes, if you are 49 yrs or older, our program isn’t the best fit for you.

A physical exam is normally not needed before starting birth control. Whether you have a virtual or an in-person appointment-your visit will be mostly talking with one of our awesome providers about your wishes and experiences with birth control.

When you decide what birth control option is best for you, the provider can write a prescription to a local pharmacy. If you chose a method that requires placement, we will connect you with care to place the birth control method the same or next day at no cost to you.  If you have any issues, you can reach out!

We absolutely support all our patient’s decisions and goals. You decide when and if you want to take birth control and we will help link you to the care you need.

You can schedule a virtual appointment with our team members or at our partner clinics to help manage side-effects. If you are having trouble reaching a provider, please contact us via email or phone and we can help you.

We are committed to women having autonomy over their bodies and the contraception they use or don’t use. Even if we didn’t place the contraceptive device! Please reach out and schedule an appointment.
