Free Birth Control Across Indiana—No Cost, No Hassle, No Judgment

PATH4YOU is a statewide initiative committed to ensuring all people in Indiana have access to free, high-quality, patient-centered contraceptive care. Rooted in principles of reproductive justice and health equity, our work empowers individuals to make informed decisions about their reproductive health—free from pressure, judgement and cost barriers.

Our Mission & Vision

Mission

To deliver accessible, respectful, and comprehensive contraceptive services to individuals across Indiana, regardless of income or background.

Vision

We envision a future where everyone can make informed and supported reproductive health decisions in an environment grounded in trust, dignity, and respect.

Our Core Principles

  • Educate: We provide evidence-based information to patients and clinicians, enabling informed choices.
  • Empower: We believe in the power of individuals to make the best decisions for themselves and their bodies.
  • Build Trust: We create a care environment built on mutual respect between patients and providers.
  • Respect Autonomy: We ensure every patient’s choices are honored—always.
  • Advance Health Equity: We strive to eliminate systemic barriers and uplift historically marginalized communities.
  • Ensure Access: We offer same-day access to the full range of birth control options, including long-acting methods.

Our Program Model

At the heart of PATH4YOU is a three-tiered model of care, designed to meet patients where they are and support them through every step of their contraceptive journey:

Universal Screening
We offer a non-judgemental opportunity to discuss pregnancy intention as a routine part of the visit.  Whether pregnancy is desired now, later, or not at all, PATH4YOU offers services for all.
Contraceptive Counseling
We use patient-centered tools and shared decision-making frameworks to guide discussions about birth control options that fit the individual’s needs and lifestyle.
Same-Day Access to All Methods
Our clinics are equipped to provide same-day access to a full spectrum of contraceptive options—including pills, patches, IUDs, implants, and more.

We train clinicians to deliver this care with cultural humility, trauma-informed practices, and deep awareness of historical harms.

Angajman nou an pou jistis repwodiksyon

We believe reproductive health care must be grounded in reproductive justice—a framework that acknowledges how race, gender, income, and systemic oppression shape access and autonomy.

Our approach includes:

  • Engaging diverse community advisory boards to co-design services.
  • Centering patient voices in program development and evaluation
  • Training providers to recognize and challenge bias and coercion in clinical care.
  • Advocating for equitable reproductive health policy and access statewide.
